2021 Pepik Pinot Noir

Colour: Vibrant cherry red, raspberry beret highlights

Aroma: Lifted sweet berry fruits of raspberry and red mulberry with hints of complex spice and smoky undertones

Palate: A generous and plush palate of ripe dark cherries, blueberries and plum. The tannins are supple, fine and well-structured to provide an intense, lingering and focused finish.

Grapes:100% Pinot Noir from the Tamar Valley, Northern Tasmania

Winemaking: Selected batches of Pinot Noir fruit are gently destemmed and placed in small batch open top fermenters. Gentle plunging and pump over techniques, combined with warm fermentations, ensure the retention of bright fresh fruit characters. The 2021 vintage, one third was fermented in French oak barriques (10% new oak) and spent 6 months in barrel before blending. Cellaring Drink now to 2028
